DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY
♦ The following resolution was passed at a meeting of friends and supporters of the Democratic Labour Party: “That this meeting endorses the formation of the Christchurch East branch of the Dempcratic Labour Party, and pledges itself to further the interests of the Democratic Labour Party in New Zealand.” Mr J. J. Porter presided over a good attendance. Addresses on the formation and policy of the party were yly-" u '' Messrs B. E. Souter and H. E. Fenton.
