WELLINGTON CONTRIBUTION TO LORD MAYOR’S FUND
♦ WELLINGTON, September 18. At 3 p.m. to-day cash received by the Wellington City Treasurer in response to the appeal of the Mayor for' a contribution of £3OOO-to the fund opened by the Lord Mayor of London for the relief of sufferers from German bombing, had reached £6922. The total is now exnected to exceed £7OOO.
