BUNGALOW RAFFLE ENDS ON FRIDAY
♦ BICYCLE PROCESSION TO BE HELD The bungalow raffle lor the Canterbury Patriotic Fund will close on Friday, when it is planned to hold a huge decorated bicycle procession through the city. The procession will leave Latimer square at 2.15 p.m. ■: , Though the procession is mainly for ■ chiMren, adults will be included. Thirty prizes are being offered, the first ; prize being £5 cash. ;■ The committee hopes that those who so far have nut purj chased tickets will not leave it to the i last minute, and they are advised to * make sure of purchasing their tickets S immediately. The sale of tickets has S been very satisfactory, and it looks cer- \ tain that a record will have been i reached by the closing dale. This raffle is for a modern bunga- ■■ low situated on a beautiful section in , Clifford avenue, Fendalton. Included I with the bungalow is a modern new motor-car, making the total value of ? the prize nearly £3OOO for 6d. Tickets are bn sale throughout Canterbury.
