TEES SOLD

TO REMAIN IN CHATHAM ISLANDS TRADE The steamer Tees (545 tons), which has been engaged in the Chatham Islands trade for many years, has been sold by the liquidators of the Westland Shipping Company. Ltd., to Southern Traders, Ltd,, a Wellington firm. Holm and Company will be managing agents for the vessel, and Captain S. Holm is at present in Christchurch in connexion with the recommissioning of the Tees. Mr H. L. Herdman (Lyttelton) will retain the local agency. The Tees is to be engaged in the Chatham Islands trade, but will be used in coastal work between trips to the islands. She is to leave Lyttelton to-day for Greymouth, where she will .load for Wellington. Later the Tees will return to Lyttelton to load for the islands.
