Advice of his appointment as shipping identification officer at -Wellington from August 3 has been received from the Naval Secretary by Mr G. F. Bothamley, Clerk Assistant of the House of Representatives. Mr Bothamley, who holds the rank of lieutenant-commander, served with the Royal Navy for three years ahd a half during the Great War.
