A talk on “Health” was given by Mrs Machin to members of the Riccarton branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union at their monthly meeting. Donations amounting to £2 Is were received for branch funds. Twelve members promised to assist in providing clothing to be given to the Lady Galway Guild, A report of visits to patients in the mental hospital was given by Mrs Gainsford. Mesdames Newth and McLean were hostesses at the tea hour.
