N.Z. TROOPS IN BRITAIN
PRIME MINISTER’S MESSAGE CONGRATULATIONS ON SAFE ARRIVAL (TRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON. June 21. The following cable message has been sent by the Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) to Mr W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner in London:— “Please convey to Colonel J. Hargest and all ranks of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force our warm congratulations on their safe arrival in the United Kingdom. We look to them with confidence to maintain the good name and high reputation of New Zealanders in the Old Country, and extend to them every good wish.”
