MY MAGPIE
1 have a magpie which is black and white* He is a very funny little bird. He does not like any dog coming, to ohr place, so he nieS at them. I have to lock him up in his cage when dogs come. 1 feed him by letting him peck out of my hand. He is very tame now, ana
does not go very far away from home. When he is hungry he comes to the back door and chirps to anyone who comes out. 1 some* times give him a piece of bread and butter, or a piece of cake, but I give him mostly meat. —DOREEN BUDD, Inchbonnia,
