HONOUR CONFERRED BY KING reluctance to leave * TROOPS (Received June 2, 9 p.m.) LONDON, June 2. The Commander'-in-Chief of the British Expeditionary Force. (General Lord Gort) has returned to London. A War Office communique states that Lord Gort handed Over command of the remaining troops on the orders of the Government as a result of good progress made in the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force.
