CATHOLIC BALL AT WAIAU

The annual ball arranged by the Catholic community of Waiau was well attended, many visitors being present from surrounding districts. The Rev. Father Madden thanked the guests for their support. Music was supplied by the Waiau Band, and Mr R. Leonard was master of ceremonies. A lucky spot dance was won by Miss G. Fitzgerald and Mr C. Thomas. Among those present were Mesdames G. C.
