Parry, to enlist his support for a scheme to interest country school children in the extermination Of vermin, was reached at a meeting of the council of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society. The decision was made as a corollary to the printing of a number of illustrated leaflets for distribution among the agents of the society and its sub-societies.
