Mrs Edgar Gibson (Orange, Australia) is the guest of the Misses Gibson, “Rangi-ruru,” for the jubilee celebrations of the school. Mrs Richard Allen and Miss Diana Allen (Oxford terrace) will leave in the middle of April for Sydney, where they will spend the winter months. Mr and Mrs Colin Macdonald (Blenheim) will arrive in Christchurch this week to attend the marriage of their niece, Miss Mary Macdonald. Mrs F. A. Nixon, who has been living in Oxford for several months, has returned to Christchurch and Is staying at Warwick House, Armagh street west. Mrs David Bush (“lona,” Parnassus), who has been visiting Cambridge, has returned to North Canterbury. Mrs E. D. Reece (Wellington) is visiting her mother, Mrs W. F. Browne, and will also be the guest of Mrs E. T. Reece (Fendalton) before returning north. Mrs Maxwell Deans (“Kilmarnock,” North Canterbury) is visiting Christchurch and is staying at “The Lodge,” Hereford street. Mrs W. A. Nicholson, a visitor from England, who has been spending some weeks in the south, has returned to Christchurch and is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Mrs Russell Laidlaw (Oaro) is visiting her mother, Mrs F. Goulburn Gibson, for the Rangi-ruru jubilee celebrations. Real universal relief is given to 90 per cent, of sufferers from ill-health by R.U.R.. which clears away the cause of disease. R.U.R. makes the system function normally and regularly. _io

Mrs M. E. Paterson (Cashel street) is visiting her daughter, Mrs John Burn McKelvie, Tinakori road, Wellington. Mrs Duncan Dickson (Methven), with her two children, has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs H. O. Peskett, and her sister, Mrs Owen G. Baxter, Papanui. Miss Mary Macßae (Dunedin) is the guest of Mrs Robert Smith, Papanui. Mrs Laurence (Hawera) is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Reynolds Carey, Cashmere Hills. Miss Jean Webster (Heretaunga), who has been visiting in North Canterbury, will leave to-morrow to stay with Mrs Percy Hall, “The Haldons,” Seddon. Miss Jean Anderson (Hawarden) is the guest of Miss Joan Cuningham (Innes road) for\ the Rangi-ruru festivities. At the special service held at St. Mary’s Church, Merivale, yesterday afternoon as part of the Rangi-ruru School 'jubilee celebrations, there was sung for the first time the Jubilee Ode, the words of which were written by an old girl" of the school, Mrs Helen Saunders (nee Bruce), and the music composed by her husband, Mr L. C. M. Saunders, of King’s College, Auckland. The singing of the ode and the school song was directed by Mrs F. P. Osmond-Smith, who was also organist for the occasion.
