MODEL YACHTING
' The Christchurch Model Yacht Club galled the twentieth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake in a light easterly wind. Ten boats competed. Following were the results;— First Heat—B. George’s Ajax (hep. 3min), 1; E. Reid’s Banshee (2min 20sec), 2; A. Laycock’s Antony (Bmin), 3; B. Wall’s Invader (fecr). 4; E. Hodges’s Kea (2min 30sec), 5. Time, 25mm lOsec. Second Heat—Ajax 1, W. Beauchamp's Avenger (3min 50sec) 2. Banshee 3, J. Scofield’s Cambria (2min 40sec) 4. Invader 5. Time. 25min 45sec. The final result was:—Ajax, 16 points, 1; Banshee, 8 points, 2; Avenger, 5 points, 3; Invader, and Antony, each 3' points (equal) 4.
