AMURI CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting of the Amur! Golf Club it was reported that the new watering system on the links had been most successful and a good season had been enjoyed. The club s finances were in a very sound condition. Opening day for the 1940 season was fixed for April 20, when a flag match will be played, the entrance fees to go to the New Zealand Golf Association s Patriotic Fund. Officers elected were-.—Patrons, Mesdames H. Dampier-Crossley, Mrs Gould Mr M. Bethell: president. Mr J, Saunderson; vice-presidents, Mesdames L>. H. Davison and E. A..Bradshaw, Messrs V. Oldman. J. Gibb, and H. Searle: club captain. Mr L. H. Davison- vice-captain Dr. W. G. Todd; secretary Mr E. A. Bradshaw; women’s captain. Mrs A. A. Macfarlane; women’s secretary, Mrs G. W. Todd; committee. Mrs D. C. Macfarlane, Mrs P R. Dearden. Mrs M. Bethell, Mrs A C R. Robinson, Messrs D. C. Macfarlane J. Danielson, P. R. Dearden, H O. Baker, A. C. R. Robinson.
