PHYSICAL FITNESS CLASSES
The need for men, women, and children to be fit for whatever tasks they face manual or mental, is recognised by the Young Men’s Christian Association, which has made adequate plans fo. making available facilities for exercise. Classes have been grouped to suit all ages, and to save time to meet the requirements of those in business and office work. An application may be made to the association for a prospectus, free of charge. Other details are provided in an -..advertisement in this issue.
Spaniards Serving France—The French Foreign Office stated that 6000 refugee Spaniards had enlisted in the Foreign Legion, 56,000 had joined labour units, and 1400 were employed, on French • farms. The refugee camps were almost empty. The Foreign Office denied reports from America that Spanish refugees had been given the* option to join up or leave the country.—Paris, March 30. ■ .
