SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Mr and Mrs H. H. Fraser returned from “Dusky,” Lake Pukaki, on Saturday. Mr and Mrs F. L. Barker, who have been staying with Mrs G. Barker (Lower Hutt), returned home during the week-end. Mrs Guinness, who has been staying with Miss Le Cren (Fairlie), has returned to Timaru. Mr and Mrs E. Scott have returned from a visit to Lake Wanaka. Mr and Mrs J. J. Heasley and Miss Marjorie Heasley have returned from a visit to Hanmer Springs. Miss Ngaire Allan (Springbrooke) is visiting Christchurch.
