Lowe is in command. The Wainui, due here on Thursday next from Timaru, is to load for Napier and Gisborne.

SALE OF STEAMER

The Greek steamer Kostis, 5253 jntons, built by Harland and Wolff in 1919? was recently sold to other Greek buyers for £55,000. The Kostis was formerly the British steamer Bathurst, and after lying idle at Barrow from June, 1931, was sold to the present vendor in Augusts 1933, for about £6200.
