Lewey, SAL) SALESMANS THEFT David Maurice Morgan, aged 34, was with the theft of a vacuumcleaner valued at £l9 10s, the property of Beatty Bros. <N.Z.), Ltd., at Inver-/-grgf?!. Chief-Detective W. H. Dunlop said-that Morgan had been employed as a salesman by the firm, and was now due to go overseas with the Ist Tfrhelon- Accused had had a bad record up to 1931, but had been out of trouble since then, Mr Dunlop said. Mr C. V. Lester, for the accused, said that Morgan’s wife would assume liability and make restitution. Morgan was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called on within five years, -with a condition that restitution be made.
