AUCKLAND’S BROADCASTING STATION
TO THE EDITOR OJ THU PRESS. Sir,—fl see in the papers a new commercial broadcasting, station is to be built in Auckland at cost of £70,000. I understand that owing to war and other causes the rebuilding of St. Helens Hospital has been postponed. Surely the welfare of mothers and children is of greater importance than a new broadcasting station. —Yours, etc., W.W. November 24, 1939.
