PRIZES PRESENTED AT ANNUAL MEETING

The annual general meeting and prizegiving of the Girls’ Friendly Society was held in St. Michael’s Parish Hall, with the Rev. C. E. B. Muschamp presiding. The annual report read by - the president (Mrs J. R. Hervey) recorded a year of progress and increasing membership. Five new branches had been formed during the year. Later in the evening, branch competitions were held in part-singing and in tableaux.
