RICCARTON CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL MEETING HELD The Biccarton Citizen’ Association held its annual, meeting on Saturday evening, and selected its candidate lor the vacancy on the Biccarton Borough Council caused by the death, ol Mr K. G.Malcolmson. "Mr B. H. Bankin was chosen. Mr B. B. W. Brighting took the chair in the absence of the president. Dr. B. Hepburn. < ' The annual report said that the year had’not been marked by any special activities, but that the executive had kept in close touch with the work o£ the Biccarton Borough Council, and 'that it wished to pay a tribute to “the careful management and control of . the borough finances, and the 4 affairs of the ‘borough, generally.**' Tbe statement, of finances showed a satisfactory position, with nearly cash in hand. In an address to the meeting, Mr H. S. S.
