BODIES RECOVERED FROM THETIS
PROGRESS OF SALVAGE ' , (BRITISH OFFICIAL, WIRELESS.) RUGBY, September 8. A farther stage in the salvage of the Thetis wreck was reached today, when satisfactory progress was made with work preparing for the injection of compressed air with a view to floating the submarine. Pumping operations are expected to beg: in the course of next week. Two bodies have been recovered during the operations of the last few days, which involved the. removal of the hatches.
