Williams (Victoria), 6 and 5. in the final of the Australian amateur golf championship. Perrier thus retained the title and also established a world record by winning the national, open, and amateur championships for two years In succession. E. Nalsmlth beat G. Naismith,- his cousin, 7 and 5, in the final of the Australian professional championship. ! INTERPROVINCIAL MATCH An Interprovincial golf match between teams representing Otago-Southland and Canterbury-Westland will be played on the Timaru Golf Club’s Hlghfleld links, Tlmaru, on Sunday, October 15. .The Canterbury and Westland advisory committee appointed by the New Zealand Golf Association (Sir Cyril Ward and Messrs A. R. Blank and M. H. Godby) has been Instructed, to. choose the Canterbury-West-land team.
