A resolution of sympathy with the Prime Minister (the Rt, Hon. M. J. Savage) in his illness was adopted at a meeting of the Christchurch City Council last evening. Messrs C. D. Marks and G. P. Kellar, traffic inspectors on the staff of the Christchurch City Council, have been rppointed to the new positions of senior patrol officers. Mr S. J. Wearn will leave this morning for Dunedin.
