A prize of 3,000,000 francs (£17,000) is, offered in France by the Minister for Air to the constructor who produces a cheap, simple, and safe aeroplane in the coming year. The conditions are that, the aeroplane must be made' entirely of French materials; that it must be easy to pilot; that it must be safe. The minimum cruising speed required is 100 miles an hour, with a radius of 370 miles.
