* RESULTS Of INTER-CLUB COMPETITION The eighth round of the Canterbury table tennis inter-club competition was concluded on Thursday night. The Tennis Shop team still remains unbeaten in the A Results in the various grades W A Grade— Linwood 21, North Beach 13; Harlequin 18, North Linwood 16; Tennis Shop 21, Excelsior 13. C Grade—St. Albans 24. Linwood 10; Kiwi B 632 points. Avonside 510 points; Kiwi A 27 games, Tramway 7 games; Gadsdens beat Arcadians by default: North Linwood beat Tennis Shop by default. Xj Grade—North Beach Surf Club 20, Reays 14; Technical 588 points, Opawa 566 points. Women . A Grade —International Models 19, Unwood 15. _ . , B Grade—North Beach 24, Linwood 10; Kiwi A 616 points, Avonside 604 points. Ranking match results were:—M. J. Souter (challenger) beat B. A. Barrer, 3-2, for second position: L. Meier (challenger) lost to F. Levenbach, 2-3, for fourth position; D. Meier (challenger) beat M. McGillivray, 3-2, for seventh position; G, Leen (challenger) beat H. Mcllroy, 3-0, for thirteenth position; E. Lees (challenger) lost to G, Leen, 2-3, for fifteenth position. . , . .
