H. Dan ley, in an interview to-day, that he was convinced there was need for another political organfea-*,.-’ tion to voice the collective opinion*j of the people in the right quarter. - “This party will have no "con ; V nexioh with the Labour Party, Mr Dailey. “It will have its owi £ policy and objectives, with.no dicta i torial methods, in which two or threjp. men will be in control. The claim that the organisation wilbnoj embarrass the Government in ahj \ way—that is not our intention. W( wish to keep in touch with the need) of the people as they arise. Provid ; * ing the Labour Government func tions satisfactorily we will have n > fault to find.” ■ -I It was stated that the organisation' will not put candidates into the fiefi ;' at the next election unless the Lafe hour members fail to carry out thfe objectives they had in - mind.' How , ever, it is intended to contest loca body elections. It was emphasise , that the new organisation had noth ing in common with Communists. Adherents of other politic* bodies are denied membership n the new party. . ■ _ J - It is not known yet what ta ; name, of the new organisation wD y be, but, suggestions are the hide ; pendent Labour Party, the 'lndus trial Labour Party, or the Socialis " Party- The movement, appears ti j be confined to Hawke’s Bay* but thfti suggestion is that other centres wil be approached in the near future, fs
