CENTENNIAL MEETING Only eight persons attended the public meeting called by the Mayor (Mr F. E. Sutton) for last evening to consider centennial • celebrations for Lyttelton. , ~ , . After' discussion. it was decided to support a regatta as the principal fixture for the, celebrations. It was also decided to ask the-regatta committee to endeavour to procure Maoris and canoes ’ for the „ purpose of holding canoe races at the regatta.
