COMPLAINT AGAINST HOTEL CHARGE
COMMISSIONER OP POLICE CORRECTS STATEMENT (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 2. Attention has been drawn to an inaccuracy in a Hamilton Press Association message about a complaint by the Commissioner of Police (Mr D. J. Cummings) against a charge for hotel accommodation. The Commissioner points out that the charge for the use of a room for two hours was quoted as 11s 6d, which was not the amount of a full day’s tariff as stated in the message.
