EASTER TRAINS
■ ♦ - HEAVY HOLIDAY BOOKINGS EXTRA ROAD SERVICES , Railway traffic over the Easter holidays this year is expected to be well in line with previous high booking periods, for the extra booking done already this week shows that the passengers carried may be more than at last Easter. At the central booking office, . the tickets sold since Sunday have been twice the numbers'-for a normal week. The railway road seralso received extraordinarily heavy bookings, so that on good Friday there will be four buses needed for the morning service to Akaroa.
The following additional passenger trains will be run:— To Dunedin from Christchurch; Wednesday, April 5, 11-2 p.m.; Thursday, April 6. 9.10 ajn., 9.28 P-m., 10.25 p.m.; Good Friday, April 7, 9.10 ajn., 12.45 pun.; Monday, April 10, 12.45 pan., 10.25 p.m.; Tuesday, April 11, 9.10 a.m.; Saturday, April 15, 9.10 a.m. To Greymouth ■ from Christchurch: Thursday, ’April 6. 9.30 a.m., 9 pjrn., 10.15 p.m.; Good Friday, April 7. 9.30 a.m.; Monday, April 10. 9.30 ajn., 10.15 pjn.; Tuesday, April 11, 9.30 ajn., 10.15 p.m,; Saturday, April 15. 9.30 a.m. Additional bus services will be run to Akaroa on Thursday at 7 p.m., to Hanmer leaving Christchurch at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday and Monday, and to Christchurch leaving Hanmer at the same times.
