SATURDAY’S MATCH The final game for the Dave Evans trophy will be played at North Hagley Park on Saturday,, at 2.30 p.m. So far the Wanderers and Papanui A teams have been unbeaten, and the game should provide plenty of keen play between these two teams. The Wanderers team Is as follows;—H. Anderson (captain), J. Anderson, R. Moses, G. Burke, E. Falgar, M* Johnston, K. Pegley. D. Lynch, H. Thomas, J. Hoar, P. O’Day. Other games are; Pirates v. Rangiora, Giants v. Papanui B. CANTERBURY TEAM CHOSEN The names of the team which will represent Canterbury at baseball were announced last night. A practice will be held to-day at 6 p.m. at Hagley Park north. The following is the team:— X. Hercus, M. Vodell, L. Toronto, D. Brown, A. Rudd, R. Evans, J. Anderson, R. Lynch, R. Mackie, M. Smith. Reserves; H. Thomas and W. Wilkinson. The following players will also attend the practice;—K. Pegerty, M. Wright, R. Moses, H. Hartley, H. Lewis, Price, H. Falgar, J. Mclnnis.
