As Quentin peers across the post , , He quite expects to see a ghost Yet plucks up courage; starts to knock Rap, tap; and then he gets a shock.
He hears a squeak which says “Who’s there?” And' round the corner Hetty Hare „„ „ , Pokes her head and says “Hullo! Tell me, are yon friend or foe?’

flow Hetty Hare’s an unknown sight, And though he almost has stage fright, Quentin laughs, “We mean no' harm There is no cause for vn»» alarm.”
, So Hetty changes tune at that And askd them in to have a chat; Whereon they all sit down to tea Of lettuce, and, crisp celery.
