COMPULSION THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN NECESSARY
BERLIN, January 13,
It is officially stated that the £ Reich loan issued in November has been fully subscribed. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says this is the first loan not to be over-subscribed within a few days of its issue. It is believed that compulsion was needed against the .banks and, industrialists.
