HITLER’S ATTITUDE TO MEMEL
MR CHAMBERLAIN’S STATEMENT IN COMMONS LONDON, December 22. Herr Hitler informed Mr Chamberlain at Berchtesgaden that he was glad to leave Memel as it was so long as the Memel Statute was observed by the Lithuanian Government. This was stated bv the Prime Minister (Mr Chamberlain) to-day in the House of Commons in answer to a question.
