PRESENTATION AT NORTH BEACH
Mr and Mrs S. Hamilton, who have left the district, were presented with a travelling rug* at the opening of the reconstructed North Beach Hall on Wednesday evening. *
The chairman (Mr W. E. S. Furby), in asking the Mayor (Mr E. L.. Smith) to make the presentation, said it was a pleasing duty to welcome back for the evening Mr_and Mrs Hamilton, who had been residents of the district for more than 16 years. Mr Hamilton had been a member of the Hall Committee from the time the hall was erected.
The Mayor, in making the presentation, said Mr and Mrs Hamilton had shown,a great spirit of service not only in their work and interest in the hall, but : in. many . activities for the progress of North Beach. :
