The Stock Exchange Association has received cabled advice from Mount Lyell, Ltd., stating that a dividend of Is a share (Australian currency) has been declared qut of profits for the year ended September 30. The year’s profit amounted to £150,830, after writing off £73,556 for prospecting, development, and depreciation, and £19,283 for taxation. Net profit a year ago was £343,852, after charging £27,869 for prospecting and develojfment, £48,603 for depreciation, and £73,889 for taxation. Dividend for that year was 3s 6d a share (174 per cent.); this year the total-is Is 6d a share (74 per cent.).
