OBITUARY
MRS A. R. MUNKO
The death of Mrs A R, Munro (Akaroa) occurred recently. Mrs Munro, who was 74 years of age, was bom at Nottingham. England. She was the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs T. Penn, and came to New Zealand with her parents in 1876. She married Mr A. R. Munro in 1885, and made her home at Akaroa. She is survived by her husband and five children: —Mesdames A. J. Orme (Dargaville), G. Warren (Timaru), E. L. Kerr (Ashburton), Miss Nancy Munro i - Akaroa), and Mr J. Munro (Akaroa). There are 12 grandchildren. Her eldest son, Mr W. Munro, died a few weeks ago. Mrs Munro was an enthusiastic worker for the Akaroa Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. W. R. Bartle conducted the funeral service. The pall-bearers were Messrs N. Cree, A F. C. Williamson, A E. Kingston, and F. R. E. Davis.
