The New Zealand schoolboys’ team was too clever for the Melbourne' schools at Association football here today. winning by six goals to 0. Features of the match were the defence ' of Taylor, the anticipation of Yeoman, and the unselfishness of the team.

The visitors scored after five minutes’ play, when Yeo»an headed a perfectly-placed free kick. Taylor scored from another free kick.

Later, Yeoman, who was a tower of strength in the front line, added three goals, and was instrumental in setting the ball to Clarke, who scored the sixth goal. Prominent for New Zealand were Taylor. Shannahan, Yeoman. McLachlan, and Singer.
