Senior Grade Notes A high standard of marksmanship was attained in last week’s senior matches. Seven teams made totals of more than 550, and 28 individual possibles were scored, compared with 20 the previous week.

Marist scored the fine total bf 558 (two points off the total possible for the match), and won easily from Working Men's Club. Sydenham continued to show improved form and beat Cashmere B by seven points. Cashmere A and Sumner were in good form and won their respective matches. United held its lead- for the 1938 championship by beating Christchurch by two points. The following table shows the positions of the teams for the Beaven Cup:—
