Pan American Airways reported that nothing has been heard from the Hawaii clipper for more than five hours. It is overdue at Manila. It is understood that the United States Army authorities at Manila have ordered the transport Meigs to travel full steam to the last given position of the Hawaii clipper. Sixteen persons are on board the Hawaii clipper, including 10 members of the crew.
