I TENDERS ARE'INVITED for the ! purchase of horses, ponies, saddles, bridles, rugs, and various other plant and riding equipment, including racing sulky, being the property of the Pegasus Riding School, Ltd., now in voluntary liquidation owing to the enforced retirement of the riding master through ill health. The horses and pon--1 ies are of excellent behaviour and condition, and the extensive range of equipment is of the best quality and jin a first-class state of repair. . Tenders are invited for the whole of the property and the business as a going concern, including a membership roll of over 200 pupils and the goodwill on uncompleted courses of lessons. Tenders are also invited for each lot separately. The highest or any i tender not necessarily accepted. DUN EDIN -TIM ARU-ASHBURTON - CHRISTCHURCH: On 9th and 13th August special train for Racecourse and Christchurch will leave Timaru 7.20 a.m., and Ashburton 9.19 a.m., arriving Racecourse 10.55 a.m. and Christchurch 11.3 a.m. Return train for Timaru leaves Christchurch 5.42 p.m.. Sockburn 5.54 p.m., arriving Timaru 9.5 p.m. On 10th August usual 7.0 a.m. Ti-maru-Christchurch (Wednesday) train will leave Timaru 7.20 a.m., Ashburton 9.19 a.m., arriving Christchurch 10.59 a.m. On 13th August,, special express train will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 11.2 p.m. Makes the same stops as the usual Sunday night train. On 9th and 13th August, the 7.35 a.m. Timaru-Ashburton and 4.31 p.m. Ashburton-Timaru trains will NOT run. GREY MOUTH - CHRISTCHURCH: On 51 hj August special passenger train leaves Greymouth 11.25 p.m. and arrives Christchurch 6.0 a.m. (6th). On 3311 i August, special passenger train leaves Christchurch 7.10 p.m. and arrives Greymouth 1.46 a.m. (14th). CHRISTCHURCH-RANGIORA-HA-WARDEN: On 9th, 10th, Hth, and 12th August, evening train for Rangiora will leave Christchurch 4.37 p.m. On 6th, 9th. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th August, evening train for Rangiora and Waikari (and Hawarden 10th) will leave Christchurch 5.17 p.m. CHRISTCHURCH-ISLINGTON: On :3th August, usual 7.25 a.m. Christ-church-Islington train will NOT run. CHRISTCHURCH-LITTLE HIVERAKAROA; From 6th to 13th August (except Monday. Bth August) the afternoon train for Little River will leave Christchurch at 4.45 p.m. (Connects at Little River each day with Service-car for Akaroa). Reduced through fare.
