VISIT OF PRIME MINISTER

MR SAVAGE TO ARRIVE THIS MORNING

DEPARTURE FOR SOUTH TO-MORROW The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) will arrive in Christchurch from the north this morning, on a short visit to Canterbury. He will be accorded a civic reception at 10 a.m. and this evening will be entertained by the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee, in the Technical College Hall. . Mr Savage will leave for Timaru tomorrow, and will make a call at the Arowhenua Maori pa, Temuka, on his way. His programme on Monday is: 10 a.m., Temuka; 11.15 a.m., Winchester; noon. Geraldine; 2.45 p.m., Fairlie; 4 p.m., Albury; 6 p.m., Waimate, where there will be a social function.
