FIRE BRIGADES' AWARD
MAJOR CLAUSES LEFT TO COURT (PKEBS ISSOCIATtO* TIMOBAM.I WELLINGTON. July 28. No agreement was reached in tho New Zealand fire brigades' dispute, which to-day was referred from the Conciliation Council to the Arbitration Court. Agreement was reached on a number of minor points, but not on hours and wages, part-time workers, the classification of firemen, or lighting and firing allowances. The Court will have to decide claims for the free provision of radio sets and swimming pools, and superannuation on a contributory basis.
