CITIZENS' BALL AT KIMBERLEY
A meeting to consider holding a citizens' ball was held in the Kimberley Hall recently, Mr J. R. Manson presided. The balance-sheet from last
year's ball showed a credit of £5 Bs. It was decided to hold the ball on August 26, and the following were elected a committee: Messrs C. H. McCausland (chairman), P. , Bearman (secretary), W. Chappell, H. Ede, G. Jowers, L. Herbert, W. Woods, C. Chappell, R. Gartery, A. Macaulay, F. Barltrop, D. Reveley, J. R. Manson, and S. Hart.
