Coates, West belt, Rangiora, Thomas, beloved husband of Mary Hawley; aged 80 years. R.I.P. HENSLEY—On July 26, at Christchurch, Elizabeth Ann (Bess), third daughter of the late J. and C. Cameron, late of Kowai Bush and Harewood. (Suddenly.) DEARY—On July 27, 1938. Patrick 'John, dearly loved elder son of Mr and Mrs D. Hawarden; in his 20th year, (Result of accident.) LEONARD—On July 27, 1938, at her father’s residence. Main road, Temuka. Rita Pauline, dearly lo'-ed fifth daughter of Joseph and Mary Leonard; aged 15 years. R.I.P. M. C. Beri. MA6ER—On July 27, at his residence, Hugh street, Kaiapoi, Arthur, beloved brother of Caroline Maber; aged 69 years. THOMSON—On July 26, 1938, at Picton, Peter Heywood, loved husband of Jane Thomson, and father of Mrs E. C. Stentiford Denlair and R. H. Thomson. Monowai. (Cremated at Wellington). TROUGHTON—On July 27, at Gisborne, Alfred Walker (late of Christchurch); aged 74 years. VIVIAN—On July 25, 1938. at her residence. Springs road, Sockburn, Sarah Thompson, dearly beloved wife of Joseph T. W. Vivian; in her 72nd year. Peace, perfect peace. WILLOUGHBY—On July 27, 1938, at Waimate, James Ernest, beloved husband of Jane Willoughby; aged 58 years. WOOD—On July 27, 1938, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs A. Smith, 6 Antrim street, Sydenham, James William, widower of the late Eliza Wood, late of Clarkville and Harewood; in his 89th year.. His end was peace.
