TT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIJL PIED that in exercise of the powers conferred by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and Section 114 of the Christchurch By-law No. 14, the CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL has adopted the following Regulation; THAT the Regulation adopted by the Christchurch City Council on the 18th day of November, 1929, appointing No. 8 Stand for motorcabs along the north side of Hereford street 80 feet west of Colombo street, and No. 8A Stand, along the north side of Hereford street west of Cambridge terrace, and the Regulation adopted by the Christchurch City Council at its meeting on the 29th day of September, 1930, appointing a Stand for motor-cabs on the eastern side of the roadway bounding the western side of Latimer square, BE REVOKED, and the following SUBSTITUTED therefor: — THAT the undermentioned places be appointed as Stands for motorcabs, viz.:— No. 8 STAND—Alongside the kerb on the southern side of Worcester street commencing at a point 66 feet east of the building line in Cathedral square and extending to a point 100 feet east of the building line in Cathedral square. The number of vehicles permitted to occupy this stand to be not more than two, such vehicles to face west. No. 8A STAND—Alongside the kerb on the western side of the roadway bounding the western side of Latimer square, commencing at a point 80 feet South from the building line at the intersection of Worcester street and extending to a point 272 feet South from the said building line. The number of vehicles permitted to occupy this Stand to be not more than 12, all vehicles to face North. THIS REGULATION shall come into force on the 4th AUGUST, 1938. J. S. NEVILLE. Town Clerk.
