EMERGENCY LANDING AT ASHBURTON
1 SOUTH-BOUND AIR-LINER DELAYED BY MIST On its trip from Christchurch to Dunedin yesterday, the south-bound air-liner was delayed by misty weather and had to make an emergency landing at Ashburton. It reached its destination an hour and a half behind schedule. Bad weather encountered after leaving Christchurch made a landing necessary at Ashburton. After about an hour, the flight was resumed and Dunedin was reached without further incident.
