* WARNING BY AUSTRALIAN WRITER FINANCIAL GUARANTEES MAY BE INADEQUATE (Received July 11; 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 11. The Rugby League writer of the “Sun” warns Sydney and Country League clubs who received the invitation to tour New Zealand that it would be unwise to . expect New Zealand to provide financial guarantees on such tours. The waiter adds that the profit on the New Zealanders’ recent tour of Australia, after making weekly allowances to the players, was only about £3OO. .
