CHILDREN BURNED TO DEATH
* ACCIDENT DURING ABSENCE OF PARENTS * SYDNEY, July 11. During the absence of their parents at a neighbour’s, three children, Shirley Croke, aged liine, Winifred Croke, aged seven, and David Croke, aged five, were burned to death in a wooden hut 19 miles from Camden last night- . The parents and their two elder daughters were playing cards at a neighbour’s when the lire occurred, and they were unable to rescue the children because the flames had too great a hold.
