A lighthouse 25 feet high is being built of coral on the highest point of Howland Island, in the Pacific, in memory of Amelia Earhart Putnam. Dr. Julio A. Roca, who negotiated with Lord Runciman the trade treaty between Argentina and Great Britain in 1933, and was Vice-President under General justo, has been appointed Argentine Ambassador in Brazil.
